First-Ever Money Transfer Feature for Media Apps Strengthens Audience Ties to Community Abroad

Radio Nueva Vida Network, California’s long running Christian broadcast ministry headquartered in Camarillo, today announces the launch of their new mobile app in partnership with AudioNow ® Plus, the technology affiliate of the world’s leading mobile distribution platform, helping more than 4,000 radio and television broadcasters worldwide reach audiences on any mobile phone. The new app, on Android and iPhones, is highly interactive and includes a money transfer feature permitting listeners to send money to friends and family abroad while listening to their favorite live and on-demand programs.

Radio Nueva Vida began operation on KMRO 90.3 FM in 1987, becoming California’s first Spanish language Christian format station. Today the broadcast reaches California and most of the Hispanic population across the nation, with many first generation listeners hailing from every Latin American country. Radio Nueva Vida’s app represents the first ever money transfer payment system for media apps.
