The app features over 300 Haitian radio stations, including broadcast giants Radio Television Caraibes, Radio Kiskeya, and Signal FM, as well as Haitian diaspora stations, whose combined audience is several million listeners worldwide. The “AudioNow Haiti Radio” app is the industry’s first carrier supported community radio app that also helps provide coverage to those in need across Haiti and elsewhere.

The app officially launched on May 16th at the Digicel sponsored, 17th Annual Haitian Compas Festival at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium that brought attendees from across the United States, Canada, Haiti, and the Caribbean to commemorate Haitian Flag Day.

The app offers both live-streams and on-demand content from the most popular programs on the island. With the ability to search based on language, location, and genre, listeners will be able to find virtually any Haitian radio station they are looking for, and add them to their “favorites list” on the homepage.

“This is the first time that over 300 Haitian stations have been hosted together in an app with worldwide streaming capabilities. The app is designed to make digital radio content accessible and affordable,” said Tim Gross, Sr. Mgr of Digital Marketing Channels for Digicel. “We’re especially pleased that we can provide radio access to those who lacked it otherwise in our international Diaspora communities, and to do this with AudioNow, a household name in the Haitian community.”

“AudioNow® first became involved with the Haitian community following the 2010 earthquake, and has been dedicated to helping broadcasters from the island ever since. It is an honor to be making such a strong offering to both Haitian broadcasters and listeners,” said George Cernat, Chief Marketing Officer of AudioNow.
